Ministry of Joy - 5

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14: 17

Oh, joy! That happy, buoyant emotion is a great feeling, whether it’s brought on by a big life event (like a wedding or birth) or something as simple as getting the perfect outcome in the kitchen for supper.

On an emotional level, we may feel joy in a variety of ways — tearfully, euphorically, with a deep sense of contentment, and more.

On a scientific level, we feel joy in our neurotransmitters, which are tiny chemical “messenger” cells that transmit signals between neurons (nerves) and other bodily cells.

Those neurotransmitters are responsible for processes and feelings in almost every aspect of the body, from blood flow to digestion.

Rejoice is the act of being joyful or expressing the joy that is in you.

What is the result of “being joyful” or expressing joy?

  • supports longevity

Feeling joyful? You are designed by God for happiness to run throughout your body.

The more you express that Joy, the more joy you will have in your Ministry. Plus, Joy is contagious. Your Joy will spread to the people you are with. They will be infected (a good thing) as you rejoice.

Rejoice in the Lord always” is stated as a command – a Christian Duty to minister to those around you with your Joy in the Lord.

And again I say, Rejoice!”
